About this opportunity 

We are looking for an Ad Operations Specialist to join us in Montreal and help us keep growing the Americas market. This chosen candidate will be responsible for supporting advertisers to activate Digital Out of Home inventory through the Hivestack DSP. The ideal candidate is an individual who has a passion for programmatic advertising and is interested in pursuing their career  in Client Service and Ad Operations. 

How You’ll Make an Impact 

  • Sales Operations Support: Enhance the sales process through effective management and utilization of Salesforce. Ensure sales data accuracy, lead management, and optimization of Salesforce workflows and configurations to support sales strategies.
  • Financial Analysis and Monitoring: Actively monitor and report on the financial aspects of ad campaigns, including spend pacing, margin analysis, and upfront deal limits. Generate essential financial reports for management and create revenue share reports for accounts payable.
  • Strategic Advice: Provide strategic financial insights to ad ops, suggesting optimal CPMs and markup percentages for curated deals. Assist in creating and managing curated deals and PMP upfront deals for publishers and buyers.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with various departments to enhance and streamline operations. Your analytical skills will bridge the gap between ad operations, sales and financial strategy, ensuring departments align for maximum efficiency and profitability.

What do you need to perform in this job 

Our ideal candidate has an understanding of the global digital advertising landscape and is up to date with key industry changes and events. You are experienced with the application of programmatic trading and audience-based buying. 

  • Required for this role is  a bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional working experience 
  • 5 years in a similar role preferably in the adtech Industry, across Digital OOH or Mobile data analytics 
  • Solid knowledge of Excel and G-suite, as well as Salesforce, Jira /Atlassian are nice to have
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate product operations to both a technical and non-technical audience 
  • Known to be naturally proactive, with the ability to work autonomously in a fast-growing environment with all our global offices 
  • Able to handle working with different time zones 
  • Highly organized with a rigorous attention to detail, drive for excellence, and a positive "can-do" approach 
  • The role requires the chosen individual to be fluent in English (spoken and written) in order to support our global team and clients. French is an asset.
  • Technical Skills:
    • BI Analysis: Skilled in using Tableau for creating visualizations and dashboards that provide insightful business intelligence.
    • Salesforce Expertise: Deep understanding of Salesforce, with experience in managing sales CRM tools, enhancing sales data processes, and optimizing CRM functions for sales team efficiency.
    • Software Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, vlookups, and financial formulas) and G-suite. Familiarity with Salesforce, Jira/Atlassian, and other financial reporting tools.
    • Ad Tech Platforms: Experience with ad tech platforms, understanding programmatic trading, and audience-based buying strategies. (Desirable)
  • Analytical Skills: Strong quantitative skills to handle large data sets and turn data into actionable insights.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills to articulate complex data and financial strategies to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proactivity and Organization: Known for a proactive approach and exceptional organizational skills, able to manage multiple projects across different time zones with a rigorous attention to detail and an eye for accuracy in financial reporting.
