We are currently looking for a highly motivated Sales & Operations Planning Manager (M/F/D) to join our Global Supply Chain team in Meiningen.
Principle duties and essential functions:
The Sales and Operations Planning Manager belongs to the Global S&OP team being part of the Operations Organization. The S&OP Manager is the key expert to improve the material forecast starting from the unconstrained demand pipeline to the supplier forecast. He/she works closely together with Global Sales, Procurement Organization and the Supply Chain Analytic team and is dedicated to a regional setup.
Represent Sales and Operations Planning within the organization to break down silos, connect disparate data sources, explore what-if simulations and develop cross-functional collaboration
Drive smarter business decisions faster to reduce lead times and inventory levels
Improve the 12-month rolling material forecast
Lead and organize regular account review meetings with the major accounts
Know changes and anomalies in demand sooner to drive them faster through the forecast process to the supplier
Understand supply constraints to mitigate lead time risks in the forecast before PO entry from the customer
Contribute to strategic concepts as part of a Sales and Operations Planning team
Knowledge, skills and experience required
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Economic Science, Industrial Engineering or equivalent
3-5 years of work experience in the field of Demand Planning and SCM
Experience in project management
Good knowledge in MS Excel, Salesforce and ERP landscapes (SAP or similar)
Good command of the English and German languages

Skills Required
