The Sales Operations Manager is responsible for managing the sales analysis team, overseeing key projects, conducting research, and leading statistical studies to ensure effective sales execution and achievement of growth objectives. This role plays a pivotal part in driving sales effectiveness by managing the administration of CRM and other critical systems, analyzing sales metrics and goals, and developing key reporting and analytics that support sales planning and forecasting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the sales analysis team, ensuring accurate and timely reporting of sales metrics and performance.
  • Analyze and evaluate sales data, trends, and performance to ensure alignment with company growth objectives.
  • Lead the administration and optimization of CRM systems and other sales tools to support efficient sales execution.
  • Develop and implement sales reporting and analytics to support sales planning, forecasting, and decision-making.
  • Collaborate with sales leadership to define key performance metrics and establish data-driven strategies.
  • Manage sales-related projects and initiatives, ensuring timely execution and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Conduct research and statistical studies to identify sales trends and areas for improvement.
  • Plan, organize, and deliver training on systems and tools for the sales team, ensuring they are equipped with the knowledge and resources to perform effectively.
  • Assist with the development of sales strategies by providing data-driven insights and recommendations.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, finance, and operations, to support the overall sales process.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Analytics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in sales operations, sales analysis, or related roles.
  • Strong proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and other sales tools.
  • Excellent analytical skills with a strong ability to evaluate sales metrics and data.
  • Experience managing teams and driving successful project outcomes.
  • Ability to communicate complex data insights to sales leadership and other stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Advanced Excel and data analysis skills; experience with reporting and BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the cybersecurity or technology sector.
  • Familiarity with sales forecasting and financial modeling.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing challenges.

Salary range: $111,100 - $159,3000

Bonus: up to 10% annual bonus

As required by Colorado law under the Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, DirectDefense provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in Colorado. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. For the state of Colorado only, the range of starting pay for this role is $111,100 - $159,300 per year with an annual bonus.
