HybridWhat you will do
The Sales Operations Manager is responsible for leading and optimizing sales operations capabilities across Kenvue Malaysia and Singapore (MYSG). This role drives operational excellence through effective sales operations, incentive management, commercial governance, and financial controls, including returns and accounts receivable management.
The incumbent plays a critical role in enabling business performance through disciplined execution, strong operational governance, and continuous process improvement. The role leads the Sales Force Effectiveness (SFE) team and partners closely with commercial and cross-functional stakeholders, ensuring operational rigor and alignment to business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales Operations & Performance Management
Lead sales operations processes to support effective commercial execution.
Ensure timely visibility of business performance against established targets to support commercial teams in identifying performance gaps and improvement opportunities.
Drive governance and alignment across key sales processes, performance review routines, and operational reporting.
Develop robust controls and feedback mechanisms to ensure data accuracy and timely issue resolution.
2. Returns Management & Accounts Receivable Governance
Lead governance and returns management processes across MYSG, ensuring compliance with company policies and timely issue resolution.
Partner with Sales, Customer Service, Finance, Supply Chain to manage product returns, customer claims, deductions, and dispute resolution processes.
Partner with Finance, I2C, and Sales teams to support effective Accounts Receivable (AR) management and collections governance.
Monitor AR aging, overdue balances, customer deductions, and collection risks to support healthy cash flow and working capital performance.
Facilitate regular reviews and resolution of outstanding receivables and disputes.
Ensure compliance with commercial governance requirements, financial controls, and escalation procedures relating to collections and customer deductions.
3. Sales Incentive Program Management
Own sales incentive program administration, governance, and performance reporting.
Ensure accurate and timely calculation, validation, communication, and payout of sales incentives.
Monitor incentive effectiveness and recommend enhancements to optimize incentive KPIs, mechanics, and performance measures.
Maintain strong governance and audit readiness for all incentive-related processes.
4. Commercial Contracts, SOP Governance & Compliance
Lead commercial contract management processes for customers and distributors.
Support contract lifecycle management, approval workflows, documentation, and governance controls.
Ensure commercial terms are accurately implemented and maintained within operational processes.
Own the governance, review, maintenance of commercial and sales operations Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Partner with process owners to ensure SOPs remain current, compliant, and aligned with evolving business requirements, policies, and ways of working.
Coordinate annual SOP review and certification processes, ensuring timely updates, approvals, communication, and documentation.
Maintain appropriate audit readiness and documentation standards for SOPs, contracts, and commercial governance processes
Drive continuous improvement in governance, compliance, and process effectiveness.
5. Process Excellence
Drive continuous improvement and identify opportunities to simplify ways of working, improve team productivity.
Ensure SOP and controls are consistently implemented across the organization.
Support implementation of new processes, systems, and operational improvements where required.
Promote a culture of operational excellence and continuous improvement across the commercial organization.
6. People Leadership
Lead, coach, and develop the Sales Operations team to build strong business acumen, operational excellence, and customer focus.
Foster a high-performance culture centered on accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and capability development.
Create an engaging team environment that supports talent development, succession planning, and employee engagement.
Ensure continuity and effectiveness of critical commercial operations through strong team leadership and resource planning.
What We Are Looking For
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Finance, Analytics, Supply Chain, or related discipline.
8+ years of experience in Sales Operations, Commercial Excellence, Business Analytics, Revenue Management, or related commercial functions.
Demonstrated experience managing sales reporting, performance analytics, commercial processes, and business planning.
Experience leading cross-functional projects involving Sales, Finance, HR, IT, and Supply Chain stakeholders.
Strong people leadership and team management experience.
Advanced proficiency in Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar business intelligence platforms.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
Who Are You?
Experience within FMCG, Consumer Health, Consumer Goods, Pharmaceutical, or Retail industries.
Knowledge of incentive compensation design and commercial governance processes.
Experience with sales force automation, CRM systems, and commercial planning tools.
Exposure to regional or multinational business environments.
