Sales Operations uses systems and technology to enable the Global Sales Team to reach their targets. Grounded in data, the Sales Operations team evaluates, using contribution margin & expense-to-revenue analytics, how many reps to hire, where to place them for the best coverage, and how to incentivize them to hit targets. The goals are efficiency, excellence, and optimizing the sales process. We are hiring a Sales Operations Manager to work in Shakopee, MN or Claremont, NC!

How You'll Help Us Connect the World:

Sales Operations works to create predictable revenue by streamlining the sales process with standard methodologies and automation. Sales Operations analyze data from sales teams to uncover insights and create reports that help guide sales strategy. Sales Operations partners with Global Sales leaders and the Business Unit to ensure sales goals align with the overall business strategy.

As a Sales Operations Manager, you will play a crucial role in making the sales process more efficient. By removing manual work from the sales rep's plate, you will enable them to focus on selling, thereby directly impacting the company's sales performance.

  • Find and scale best practices: Identifying what is and isn't working in the sales process. When you spot trends or behaviors that result in more efficient selling, you'll turn these into best practices for the entire sales team, thereby shortening the sales cycle.
  • Report on sales performance: Build the information center that sales teams depend on to make critical decisions. Create assessments of likely sales performance, like forecasts. Report on metrics-everything from business health to deep-dive metrics on sales activity.
  • Lead sales planning: Working with sales leaders to lay out the vision and strategy for the next several years. Then, they work to achieve it one year at a time. They do this through strategic planning, which falls into four buckets:
  • Territory planning confirms that the right reps are assigned to the right territories.
  • Capacity planning determines whether to hire more people to hit sales goals.
  • Quota planning sets expectations for sales rep performance.
  • Compensation planning incentivizes the right behaviors for sales reps.

Required Qualifications for Consideration:

  • Bachelor's degree with at least five years of work experience in finance
  • Proven track record of collaborating across multiple teams and experience cross-functional and cross-cultural teams effectively.
  • Previous experience working in a multifaceted environment in which they will often be called upon to project lead cross-functional and cross-cultural teams optimally.
  • Advanced skills in MS Office application, particularly with Excel formulas, pivot tables and graphs
