Canonical is hiring exceptional Revenue Operations analysts who will support a team of experts growing and managing our global direct, alliance, channel partner and online sales. The Revenue Operations teams drive continuous policy, process and data quality improvement which enable us to analyze and drive interventions to maximize net customer retention, and lead robust, repeatable processes to plan, manage and deliver revenue.
You will support the leadership of the team, providing insights to drive improvements and partnering with Canonical’s teams across sales, business development, customer success, marketing, product management, commercial systems, delivery, finance and legal. This position requires an analytical approach, a keen eye for detail and the desire to strive for excellence. The role entails
- Supporting all aspects of the day-to-day operations of the sales and business development functions globally
- Driving data quality, through checking opportunities for accuracy, clean order processing, new hire training, policy and process documentation, reporting and data cleansing
- Supporting and enabling the sales team globally on CRM and other revenue operations policies, processes and systems such as Sales Engagement, Training/Enablement, Data Enrichment, Configure Price Quote, Analytics and Commissions
- Supporting other Revenue Operations Analysts and leadership team to report on and improve data quality, sales metrics, dashboards and other ad-hoc analytical tasks.
- Supporting planning, monitoring and improving revenue operations, across new leads, pipeline, velocity, sales productivity and renewals. Delivering insight that enables improved territory and quota management, channel development and sales productivity.
- Assisting the team with automation and streamlining of the end-to-end Lead to Order process
- Exceptional academic track record from both high school and university
- Undergraduate degree in a related field, preferably in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics or Economics, or a compelling narrative about your alternative path
- Drive and a track record of going above-and-beyond expectations
- Experience working as an analyst in revenue/sales operations or related fields such as financial analysis, sales analysis or sales order processing
- Energetic, thoughtful, systematic approach, focused on robust, repeatable and scalable outcomes
- Excellent attention to detail and data-driven, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Planning and organisational skills, including the ability to interact and work with stakeholders across functions and at all levels of the organisation
