Metal is an AI-powered operating system for founders raising venture rounds. Our platform brings intelligence and efficiency to the core workflows involved in venture rounds — finding the right investors, mapping relationship intelligence to land introductions, and getting context-rich guidance on key questions around round strategy and collateral.

About the Role

We’re looking for a Sales Ops Analyst to bring intelligence and precision to our end-to-end sales process. The right candidate will dive deep into understanding prospective customers and bringing data-driven intelligence into our Company-wide CRM. The role will work closely with the analytics team while maintaining a clear focus on revenue-generating activities.

You’ll work closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to turn data into actionable strategies and measurable results.

What You’ll Do

  • Drive insights across the sales process, including user engagement, retention, funnel performance, and feature adoption.

  • Own the health, precision and automations within the CRM, ensuring that the right flows are mapped to the various points within the sales journey.

  • Build scalable tracking and reporting frameworks and dashboards for internal and external stakeholders.

  • Partner with product, growth, and leadership teams to identify opportunities for experimentation and optimization.

  • Translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations that guide strategic decision-making.

  • Growth mindset: Curious, resourceful, and eager to take ownership of new challenges.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 2-4 years of experience in business analysis, product analytics, growth analytics, or a related analytical field.

  • Strong skills in SQL and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker, or similar)

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets.

  • Experience working with SaaS products or in fast-paced, early-stage environments.

  • Track record of influencing decisions through data-driven insights.
