Job Title: Sales Manager
Role Summary
The Sales Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth by converting prospects into clients and delivering sales results across assigned accounts or territories. This role works closely with clients and internal stakeholders to originate, pursue, and close new business opportunities that deliver measurable business outcomes.
The successful candidate will demonstrate strong sales leadership, client relationship management, commercial acumen, and the ability to position solutions that address customer challenges and support business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities within assigned accounts and territories.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key client stakeholders to drive long-term account growth.
Understand customer business objectives, challenges, and priorities, and align appropriate solutions to meet their needs.
Manage the full sales lifecycle from prospecting and qualification through proposal development, negotiation, and contract closure.
Collaborate with solution architects, delivery teams, subject matter experts, pricing, and commercial teams to develop winning proposals.
Maintain accurate opportunity management, sales forecasts, account plans, and pipeline reporting.
Meet or exceed assigned revenue, booking, and sales targets.
Monitor industry trends, market developments, and competitive activities to identify growth opportunities.
Lead strategic deal pursuits and negotiations while ensuring strong commercial outcomes.
Conduct regular client reviews and maintain executive-level relationships to strengthen customer engagement and retention.
Required Skills and Competencies

Proven track record of achieving or exceeding revenue targets.

Experience Required
15 years or more of relevant experience in enterprise sales, account management, or business development.
Proven experience selling IT services, managed services, digital transformation, cloud, applications, infrastructure, cybersecurity, workplace services, or related technology solutions.
Experience engaging with senior business and technology decision-makers.
Demonstrated success in acquiring new customers and growing existing accounts.
Experience managing large, complex opportunities and contract negotiations.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
Relevant sales certifications or methodologies (e.g., MEDDIC, Challenger, SPIN, Miller Heiman) are advantageous.
