Responsibilities

- Manage outreach via email, LinkedIn, and phone — moving prospects from cold to warm conversations.
- Deliver persuasive demos and presentations of Quill’s platform.
- Handle objections and guide schools through the decision-making process.
- Negotiate and close new school partnerships.
- Maintain ongoing relationships with signed schools to ensure satisfaction and renewals.
- Collaborate with founder on refining pitch materials, sales strategy, and funnel.
Compensation
This is a commission-based role with significant upside. Quill offers 30% recurring commission on every school you bring on board, with payouts continuing for up to 3 years as schools renew.
Typical school contract: ~$2,000/year Commission per school: ~$600/year
- Earnings scale directly with performance:
- 50 schools signed ≈ $30K annually
- 80 schools signed ≈ $50K annually
- 115 schools signed ≈ $70K annually
Qualifications
- Track record in sales, ideally in ed tech, SaaS, or K-12 education.
- Comfortable handling long sales cycles and institutional decision-making.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working remotely.
- Bonus: existing network of educators, counselors, or administrators.
