Quill is looking for a driven Sales Manager to lead outreach and relationship-building with schools, counselors, and educational organizations. This role is perfect for someone with experience in ed tech or education sales who thrives in a high-autonomy, performance-based environment.

Responsibilities

  • Source and qualify leads (school counselors, administrators, tutoring orgs, etc.)
  • Manage outreach via email, LinkedIn, and phone — moving prospects from cold to warm conversations.
  • Deliver persuasive demos and presentations of Quill’s platform.
  • Handle objections and guide schools through the decision-making process.
  • Negotiate and close new school partnerships.
  • Maintain ongoing relationships with signed schools to ensure satisfaction and renewals.
  • Collaborate with founder on refining pitch materials, sales strategy, and funnel.

Compensation

This is a commission-based role with significant upside. Quill offers 30% recurring commission on every school you bring on board, with payouts continuing for up to 3 years as schools renew.

Typical school contract: ~$2,000/year Commission per school: ~$600/year

  • Earnings scale directly with performance:
  • 50 schools signed ≈ $30K annually
  • 80 schools signed ≈ $50K annually
  • 115 schools signed ≈ $70K annually

Qualifications

  • Track record in sales, ideally in ed tech, SaaS, or K-12 education.
  • Comfortable handling long sales cycles and institutional decision-making.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working remotely.
  • Bonus: existing network of educators, counselors, or administrators.
