Engage with decision makers across technology, government and research sectors to drive net new sales revenue
▶ Work closely with internal technical stakeholders, including Solution Architects and Product Managers to develop tailored customer proposals
▶ Develop and maintain relationships with SMC’s key partners, including NVIDIA and Dell, to drive collaboration and opportunity creation
▶ Manage the entire sales cycle, from target identification to contract close. You will have access to technical and executive support where required to maximise our chances of winning
▶ This is a regional sales role with the ability to sell to customers across Asia, some travel within region will be required
▶ This role reports directly to the group Sales Director
- Experience selling high value contracts within the cloud, complex software or IT hardware space
- Ability to leverage a rich existing network of senior decision makers within our target markets
- An adaptable self-starter: we are a young and rapidly growing business where no 2 days are the same. The Sales Manager needs to be able to pivot to new goals and areas of focus adeptly
- A strong and demonstrable understanding of the decision-making process within AI projects; able to influence with practitioners, and negotiate with senior budget holders
