Reporting to the Vice President of Sales, this sales leadership position will have full commercial responsibility and accountability for blown film products. The objectives will be focused on year over year profitable net revenue growth for the defined territory with a strong emphasis on uncovering and closing new opportunities.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
- Support, deliver and implement PPC's go to market strategy for the defined selling assignment which includes establishing and maintaining a strong working relationship with PPC's various manufacturing sites during the entire selling process
- Develop successful win-win business relationships with customers (internal & external) that leads to profitable year over year net revenue growth
- Attend and participate in trade show activities to network and generate new business opportunities
- Provide and present market and customer intelligence to the PPC's Executive Management Team in a manner that is professional and easy to understand and analyze
- Fully utilize Salesforce.com, a web-based Customer Relationship Management operating system used by SPG to effectively communicate and manage the process of aligning daily efforts with the annual strategic plan
- Work closely with:
- Plant leadership teams to research potential new product offerings.
- All associates within the expanded SPG sales and marketing teams to reinforce a ONE SPG Team selling environment
- Program management, customer service and engineering teams as required throughout the entire quoting process
- Provide the professional leadership skills that will consistently support and deliver SPG core values
- Support the Annual Business and Strategic Planning Process which includes both written and verbal presentation
- Participate and support key industry organizations and functions to promote the mission, value statements and objectives as outlined in the annual business plan
- All other duties, as assigned
- Three-five years of new business development, account management, R&D engineering or Operations engineering experience
- Demonstrated creative problem-solving skills and the ability to influence internal and external customers
