Role Overview
We’re seeking a dynamic, results-oriented Regional Sales Manager to accelerate our presence and revenue in Japan. This is a high-impact role for a tech-savvy sales leader with deep knowledge of the regional market. You’ll lead the full sales cycle across key verticals including smart cities, transportation, retail, manufacturing, and enterprise security. Success in this role will be defined by your ability to develop regional go-to-market strategies, close high-value deals, and build long-term channel and customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy & Execution
. Develop and drive a regional GTM plan aligned with Vaidio’s global strategy
. Own the full sales cycle from lead to close
. Manage a pipeline of direct and indirect sales opportunities in Japan

Market Expansion & Customer Acquisition
. Identify and develop customer and partner relationships
. Drive demand across key verticals with value-based positioning

Channel Development
.Recruit, onboard, & manage high-performing resellers, integrators, & distributors
.Support channel partners through training, joint selling, and pipeline acceleration

Performance & Forecasting
.Deliver accurate forecasts and maintain CRM discipline
.Meet and exceed quarterly revenue targets and KPIs

Qualifications
.Experience: 8+ years of B2B sales experience, including 3+ years selling into Enterprise IT or Physical Security into Japan.
.Track Record: Demonstrated success meeting or exceeding quotas in a complex, consultative sales environment
.Language: Must be fluent in Japanese and English.
.Technical Acumen: Ability to understand and communicate the value of Vision AI to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
.Market Knowledge: Deep understanding of Japan market dynamics, customer needs, regulatory environments, and cultural nuances
.Travel: Willingness to travel extensively across Japan (up to 50%)
.Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field
