About the Role
As a Sales Manager for a leading medical device distributor, your role is crucial in advancing our mission of delivering innovative healthcare solutions across Malaysia. Leading a team of medical sales specialists, you will be responsible for promoting our diagnostic and therapy devices within one of our key portfolios: ENT-Neuro, Med-Surg, or Sleep. This position is key to achieving revenue growth, expanding our market reach, and maintaining our reputation as a trusted distributor of medical devices. Your efforts will directly impact healthcare providers, helping them improve patient outcomes through the use of advanced medical technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage, coach, and motivate a dynamic sales team to achieve ambitious targets and exceed business objectives within your assigned portfolio.
  • Develop and implement tailored sales strategies for your portfolio, staying ahead of market trends, identifying growth opportunities, and maximising sales potential. This includes promoting surgical devices and other specialized medical devices within your portfolio.
  • Establish and nurture strong relationships with healthcare providers, medical professionals, and decision-makers, ensuring they receive the best possible solutions for their needs. Your team will work to introduce and drive adoption of advanced medical devices.
  • Monitor your team’s performance, track sales metrics, and implement data-driven strategies for continuous improvement. You’ll ensure that your team consistently meets portfolio-specific sales goals.
  • Work closely with marketing, supply chain, and regional teams to align strategies and ensure optimal customer satisfaction. Collaborate to drive growth within your portfolio and leverage insights to improve sales efforts. 


Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Biotechnology, Medical Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in the medical device industry, with 2 years in a people manager role, and a strong background in one of the following areas: Surgical devices for ENT, neuro, med-surg, or sleep.
  • A results-oriented leader with a track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets, who excels at building long-term relationships with healthcare professionals, hospitals, and clinics.
  • Skilled in fostering lasting partnerships with key stakeholders, including surgeons, physicians, and healthcare providers, focused on providing innovative and effective solutions to improve patient care.
  • Experienced in using CRM systems and sales analytics to monitor sales performance, forecast future trends, and manage customer relationships efficiently.
  • Passionate about healthcare technology, with in-depth knowledge of medical devices and solutions within your assigned portfolio, including surgical equipment, diagnostic devices, and sleep solutions.


Skills Required
