Sales Manager – Service Provider Segment (Individual Contributor)

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Grow business within the Service Provider (CSP) segment across Europe through direct sales activities.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, expanding the customer base and increasing product penetration in assigned accounts.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders within customer organizations.
- Achieve annual Order Booking and Revenue targets.
- Maintain a healthy and accurate sales pipeline in the CRM system (Salesforce.com), ensuring forecasts are regularly updated.
- Prepare and execute account plans for assigned customers and participate in Quarterly Business Reviews or internal reviews when required.
- Collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams (presales, post‑sales, sales operations, finance, BID Management) to support customer needs and close opportunities.
- Stay informed on market developments, customer challenges, and competitive landscape to support successful sales strategies.
ORGANIZATIONAL ALIGNMENT
- Reports to the EMEA Sales Lead for the Service Provider segment.
- Works closely with regional presales, post‑sales support, and business operations teams.
- The role requires travel across Europe to meet customers and attend internal/external business meetings.
REQUIREMENTS
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Solid understanding of sales processes, financial drivers, and customer buying behavior within the telecom/service provider market.
- Proven strategic selling, negotiation skills, and ability to engage with technical and business stakeholders of min 5 - 10 years.
- Strong business acumen, problem‑solving skills, and proactive approach to driving opportunities forward.
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and perform in a fast‑moving environment.
- Resilience and ability to remain effective under pressure.
