Job Responsibilities:
Magna Steyr Aerospace is a business unit of Magna Steyr Fahrzeugtechnik GmbH & Co KG. As a supplier for the manufacturing of welded assemblies and engineering services, Magna Aerospace has established a strong reputation as a reliable and experienced partner for the global aerospace industry. Our competences encompass design, process development and manufacturing of fluid system components for the space launcher and aircraft industry. Operating according to the highest industry standards, we have established strong and efficient processes that ensure that our customers' targets can be met.
For our Aerospace Business Unit in Graz, Austria we are looking for a Sales Manager.
Your Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand market share in the aerospace sector
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, and government agencies
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify new business opportunities
  • Lead the preparation of commercial proposals, negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations
  • Work closely with engineering, product development, and operations teams to align customer requirements with technical capabilities
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and performance reports to senior management

Who we are looking for:
  • Successfully completed degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of sales experience in the aerospace or high-tech manufacturing industry
  • Good understanding of manufacturing and engineering processes
  • Solid grasp of aerospace systems, components, and industry standards
  • Experience working in international markets and with culturally diverse teams
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving business growth
  • Profound knowledge in MS-Office Tools (Powerpoint, Excel)
  • Excellent English skills, Italian and/or French skills would be a benefit
  • Readiness for business trips domestically and internationally as required

Based on your qualifications, professional experience, and the tasks that await you, we will agree on your actual salary. The minimum salary, depending on your education, ranges between €4,355 and €5,300 gross per month (14 times per year) based on full-time employment (38.5 hours per week).
