About the role

As the Sales Lead, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth by leading our sales and accounts team and closing key business deals. You will play a critical role in executing the sales strategy, building strong relationships with restaurant industry leaders, and maximizing revenue opportunities. This is a Team Lead position that requires a high level of initiative, strategic thinking, and the ability to navigate the challenges of selling in a fast-paced, competitive market.

What your day-to-day looks like

  1. Building Sales Pipeline and Executing Deals:
    • Develop sales pipeline with net new prospects to achieve company revenue goals
    • Actively engage in prospecting, qualifying leads, and closing high-value deals
    • Identify target markets, customer segments, and key accounts to prioritize sales efforts
    • Monitor sales performance, track key metrics, and provide regular reports to the executive team
  2. Team Management:
    • Manage a small account management team, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure their success
    • Set performance targets and provide ongoing feedback and performance evaluations
    • Foster a collaborative and high-performance sales culture that promotes individual and team success
  3. Business Development:
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and strategic alliances
    • Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in the restaurant industry, including executives, owners, and operators
    • Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to promote our voice AI solution and generate leads
  4. Customer Relationship Management:
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers
    • Understand customer needs, pain points, and business challenges to tailor sales strategies and solutions accordingly
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product and operations, to ensure customer satisfaction and retention

What sets you up for success

  • 4+ years at an Enterprise SaaS company in a Sales Account Executive capacity, with at least 2+ years experience as a Team Lead
  • Experience as a coach-player as this is a full-cycle, hands-on, quota-carrying sales role
  • Experience carrying an individual sales quota of $2MM+ ARR, closing deal sizes of $500K+ ARR
  • Proven track record of success in sales, including closing high-value deals and meeting or exceeding revenue targets
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with customers and stakeholders
  • Deep understanding of the restaurant industry and familiarity with emerging restaurant technologies
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to identify market trends, competitive threats, and growth opportunities
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, startup environment
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing and motivating account managers and/or sales teams
  • Experience with HubSpot (CRM) is a plus
  • Willingness to travel as needed (US and Canada)
