Role Summary
As a Sales Support Officer, you will support the sales team by identifying potential customers, promoting bank products, and helping convert leads into sales. You will also ensure all processes follow bank policies and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Identify customer needs and recommend suitable products
Generate and follow up on sales leads
Support sales campaigns and meet targets
Complete and submit customer applications accurately
Ensure all customer documents are correct and complete
Provide good customer service at all times
Keep records of sales and performance
Work with team members and attend training
Follow all company policies, including KYC, AML, and operational procedures
Maintain security, safety, and confidentiality standards
Carry out any other duties assigned by the Team Leader or Management
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
Some sales or customer service experience is a plus
Willingness to learn and adapt

Skills Required
- Degree graduate
- Some previous experience in a sales and service role
- Ability to work flexibly across a range of processes and activities
- Knowledge of KYC, AML, money laundering regulations, and relevant banking legislation
- Understanding of operational risk, enterprise risk management framework, and internal bank policies
- Working understanding of processing centre operations (cheque book & statement ordering) and internal systems
- Working knowledge of technical systems e.g. ARO Teller
- Broad awareness of bank products and services
- Ability to complete and check correctness of account and loan application documents
- Visual concentration for screen-based work
- Good communication skills
- High level of drive and determination
- Good numeracy skills
- Good interpersonal and relationship skills
- Thoroughness and good personal organization/time management
