About the department
The Customer Engagement Team at Novo Nordisk Malaysia is a dynamic and collaborative group of professionals devoted to delivering exceptional commercial ales excellence and customer experiences. Located in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, our team is part of a global organization that values innovation and teamwork. This position will report to the Customer Engagement Director in Malaysia.
The position
As a Sales Force Effectiveness Manager (Commercial Effectiveness) at Novo Nordisk, you will:

  • Lead sales force performance management by creating and managing Incentive Schemes and pay-outs in alignment with the Leadership Team and regional office.
  • Enhance sales force effectiveness by providing expertise on portfolio prioritization, field force sizing/restructuring, sales territory development, and optimal sales resource allocation.
  • Drive and orchestrate regular profiling, segmenting, and targeting (PST) activities in collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Lead the analytics and evaluation of sales force effectiveness metrics, collaborate with the Training Manager to develop a robust sales coaching plan, ensure high adoption of Big5 capabilities, and provide the Leadership Team with regular KPI performance tracking and improvement plans.
  • Assist in high-quality in-field execution, ensure the successful adoption of the multi/omnichannel customer engagement model, identify opportunities to improve multi/omnichannel planning and execution processes, and keep teams informed on frontline effectiveness progress, best practices, and associated metrics and outcomes.


Qualifications

  • A Master's/BS/BA Degree with specialization in business, marketing, and/or medical fields desired, with at least 7-8 years of relevant experience within Commercial Excellence, sales, or marketing, preferably in the Pharmaceutical/Healthcare industry with exposure to regional stakeholders.
  • Essential to have strong communication, social skills, leadership, and negotiation skills, with experience in leading cross-functional teams/projects.
  • A high degree of fluency in spoken and written English is required.
  • Outcome-oriented with an business mindset, demonstrated data-driven and logical capability, and the ability to work effectively independently to ensure the deliverables of projects/tasks.
  • Expert level proficiency with the MS Office suite (Excel, PPT, Word).
