Sales Finance Supervisor

As we continue to grow our national brands portfolio, we are seeking an energetic, highly detail-oriented individual to make an immediate impact as part of our Finance team. The Sales Finance Manager will report to the FP&A / Revenue Management area and will work to help optimize our distributor bill-back process while providing greater financial visibility, support, and insights to our growing Sales team and management across the organization.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage, execute, and improve the distributor bill-back accrual and invoice reconciliation process
  • Perform periodic analysis and true ups of depletion allowance and distributor incentive liabilities
  • Develop net revenue projections to support the annual planning cycle three times per year
  • Coordinate expense planning and tracking for Sales and Marketing related to A&P and T&E
  • Conduct variance analysis versus budget, forecast, and prior periods to identify key drivers of revenue and margin performance
  • Develop and deliver a dashboard of revenue KPIs
  • Work with the accounting team to validate accrued liabilities associated with discounts, coupons, and distributor incentives
  • Support audit processes and audit requests
  • Manage and develop Sales Finance Analysts
  • Evaluate pricing and promotional spend to understand ROI and financial implications
  • Develop strong collaborative relationships with key members of Sales, Marketing, and Finance, and provide analytical support to these teams
  • Provide additional ad-hoc financial analysis as needed

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent work experience
  • 3+ years of experience in the beverage alcohol industry
  • Strong understanding of the 3-tier distribution and pricing system in the beverage alcohol business
  • Prior experience with Beverage Alcohol pricing systems preferred
  • Experience working cross-functionally to improve processes
  • Highest standards of accuracy and precision; highly organized
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities
