The Sales Executive will be responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities, managing client relationships, and promoting the Company’s equipment rental and service offerings. The role requires full ownership of the sales cycle, from prospecting and closing deals to ensuring timely payment of invoices, while delivering a high standard of customer service.
The Sales Executive will also be accountable to achieve assigned sales targets, supporting marketing initiatives, and ensuring that all activities align with Company policies.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:
Business Development & Sales Growth
• Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities through cold calling, site visits, and industry networking.
• Promote the Company’s products, equipment and rental solutions, emphasizing value, efficiency, and reliability.
• Grow existing accounts through upselling, cross-selling, and relationship management.
• Encourage order building and repeat business among clients.
• Follow up on all sales leads, quotations, and customer inquiries to maximize conversions.
• Achieve assigned sales targets and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Customer Relationship Management
• Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, project managers, and key stakeholders.
• Provide professional customer service and ensure a high level of client satisfaction.
• Respond to customer complaints, service issues, and emergencies by investigating and resolving concerns promptly.
• Conduct customer satisfaction surveys and recommend service improvements as needed.
Sales Operations & Coordination
• Coordinate equipment reservations and availability with administrative and operations teams.
• Support overflow activities from Store sales to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of customer orders.
Technical Support & Product Knowledge
• Advise customers on equipment selection based on job requirements.
• Provide guidance on safe operation and basic troubleshooting of equipment.
• Maintain a strong understanding of equipment specifications, applications, and safety standards.
Revenue Collection
• Take ownership of the full sales cycle, including post-sale follow-up to ensure timely payment of all invoices.
• Actively monitor customer accounts to ensure outstanding balances are settled within agreed credit terms.
• Conduct regular follow-ups with clients (calls, emails, site visits) to secure payment and resolve any billing disputes promptly.
• Escalate overdue accounts to the Finance Department in accordance with Company policy.
• Ensure that no client account remains outstanding beyond agreed terms without documented justification and management approval.
• Maintain accountability for aged receivables within assigned client portfolio (e.g., 30, 60, 90+ days).
Reporting & Administration
• Prepare and maintain accurate call reports, sales records, and pipeline updates.
• Submit weekly, and monthly sales performance reports.
• Track revenue performance, customer activity, aged receivables, and sales metrics.
• Maintain proper documentation for all sales activities and customer interactions.
Marketing & Promotions
• Support the development and execution of sales campaigns, and promotions.
• Assist in creating and updating product catalogs, flyers, and marketing materials.
• Collaborate with the General Manager on advertising strategies and placements.
• Promote the Company’s services through various outreach initiatives.
Professional Development
• Attend and actively participate in sales, operational, and promotions.
• Ensure compliance with Company policies, safety standards, and industry regulations.
• Maintain professional conduct and uphold company values at all times.
• Network with industry professionals to enhance business opportunities.

Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
• A degree in Sales and Marketing, Business Administration, or related field with a minimum of 5 years of sales experience.
• A valid driver’s license and ability to conduct regular site visits.
• Formal training or exposure to the construction, heavy equipment or rental industry would be an asset.

• Knowledge of sales processes, including prospecting, pipeline management, negotiation, and closing techniques.
• Ability to interpret basic financial data, including pricing, margins, and revenue performance.
• Results-driven with a clear focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets.
