The Entry-Level Sales Representative is responsible for identifying new business opportunities and building relationships with clients in the film, television, advertising, and streaming media industries. Primary focus will be working with Indie filmmakers, Documentaries, shorts, and commercials that require post production services. This role supports the company's growth by promoting picture post-production services, including editorial finishing, color grading, visual effects, mastering, QC, and delivery.
- Prospect and generate new business through Production Weekly leads, Identified leads during sales meetings, cold calls, emails, social media, networking events, and referrals.
- Develop relationships with producers, directors, DPs, production companies, post producers, post supervisors, studios, independent filmmakers, and content creators.
- Schedule meetings and tours to introduce the company's post-production capabilities.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, leads, and opportunities in the company's CRM system (Free Agent).
- Follow up with prospective and existing clients to identify upcoming projects.
- Work closely with Colorists to discuss leads and opportunities that are being chased for them.
- Coordinate with operations, production and billing teams to ensure a smooth handoff after projects are awarded.
- Attend industry events, award shows, film festivals, trade shows, and networking functions to increase brand awareness.
- Monitor industry trends and competitive services to identify new business opportunities.
- Consistently build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline.
- Achieve established sales activity goals, including calls, meetings, and new account development.
- Deliver excellent service to the client before, during, and after project completion.
- Represent the company professionally within the entertainment and media community.
