About the role:

As a Specialist of Origination in our North America Platform Solutions Team, you will originate new transactions with banks and non-bank financial institutions.  You will work with institutions that will white label Demica’s Trade Finance platform, and others that will use our reporting platform for specific transactions.  Key responsibilities include identifying prospect clients, independently originating transactions with these clients, and collaboration with internal stakeholders across the Commercial function (incl. Marketing & Business Development) to drive pipeline growth and market penetration. 

This role can be based in various locations in the USA including: New York, Atlanta, Jacksonville and Chicago.

What you will be doing:

  • Work with the Head of North America Origination to identify prospects within the bank and non-bank financial institution space across North America, and manage the Target Addressable Market for this segment of Demica clients.  

  • Working closely with our marketing team you will cover inbound enquiries arising from our lead generation activities. 

  • Lead complex sales engagements from inception to closure.  Work with clients to move them through the sales cycle from the initial contact through to mandate, handover to execution/ implementation and go live.  You will leverage business from new and established customer relationships including those within Demica and FIS’ product suite. 

  • Through the candidate’s own network, the origination team’s network, and in collaboration with our marketing and business development team through implementation of successful campaigns and attendance at industry events, the candidate will source and drive conversion of new opportunities for the White Labelling of Demica’s platform and the use of Demica’s reporting platform in the use case of Trade Receivables Securitization.

  • In collaboration with the Head of North America Origination, other senior originators and the Product function, the candidate will collaborate to develop best in class thought leadership to position Demica as a “go to” source for bank product leaders considering the implementation of a program.  

  • The candidate will be responsible for ensuring CRM data accurately reflects pipeline, contact management, campaign follow ups, and that client pitches and marketing materials are updated and relevant to specific clients.

                             

What you bring:

  • 10 years+ experience in Trade Receivables and / or Payables Finance, including structuring and execution of transactions

  • Financial understanding of Working Capital products across payables and receivables

  • History of client-facing roles, ideally with clients being Large Corporates and Financial Institutions

  • Evidence of working in a fast-paced, results-orientated environment

Added bonus if you have:

  • Exposure to Software and/or Enterprise sales

  • Fluency in Spanish

  • Experience working in the securitization industry

FIS is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive compensation. The pay range for this full-time position is $173,560.00 - $286,400.00 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined by additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay. Please consult with your recruiter about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.. This position may be eligible for bonus and/or commission.
