As a Sales Executive based in Frankfurt, you'll play a key role in expanding our presence within the German adviser market, with a particular focus on national advisory firms and unit-linked insurance partners.
This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious sales professional who is passionate about building strategic partnerships and helping shape the future of financial advice in Germany. Working closely with key decision makers at leading intermediary businesses, you'll help drive adviser adoption of Vanguard's investment solutions, support the development of model portfolio partnerships, and contribute directly to Vanguard's continued growth across Europe.
You'll work alongside experienced sales leaders and strategic account professionals while helping to shape and deliver Vanguard 365, one of the industry's strongest adviser education propositions. Through a combination of strategic partnership development and hands-on execution, you'll support advisers with investment insights, practice management ideas, and investor-focused education that helps improve client outcomes.
In this role you will
- Develop and deepen relationships with national advisory firms, unit-linked insurance providers, and other intermediary partners across Germany, building trusted relationships with key decision makers and helping drive Vanguard's long-term growth
- Create and execute business plans that identify new opportunities, increase adoption of Vanguard's investment solutions and model portfolio capabilities, and deliver against sales objectives
- Play a leading role in delivering and evolving Vanguard 365, one of the industry's strongest adviser education propositions, through workshops, webinars, events, and educational programmes that support adviser development and improve client outcomes
- Partner closely with Strategic Accounts, Marketing, Investment Specialists, and other internal stakeholders to deliver impactful client experiences, execute strategic initiatives, and strengthen Vanguard's position within the intermediary market
- Stay informed on market developments, retirement trends, and regulatory requirements while contributing to strategic projects that support Vanguard's broader growth ambitions
What it takes
- Proven experience in sales, business development, relationship management, or another client-facing role within financial services, ideally working with advisers, insurers, wealth managers, platforms, or distribution partners
- Strong commercial and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders, identify growth opportunities, and develop strategic partnerships
- Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills, with confidence delivering workshops, webinars, and educational events to adviser audiences
- Interest in investment products, capital markets, retirement solutions, and the asset management industry, combined with the ability to translate complex topics into practical client solutions
- A collaborative, proactive, and execution-focused mindset, with the ability to balance strategic thinking and relationship management with hands-on delivery

- This is a hybrid position and would require you to work in the office 3 days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday)
