Sales Executive

Sales | Mid Market Segment | Full Time | Dallas Hybrid

ENERGY Transportation Group is growing its presence in the U.S. market and is looking for a driven Sales Executive to build new business across the mid-market segment. Based in Dallas, you will develop relationships with growing shippers, solve real transportation challenges and turn opportunities into profitable, long-term customer partnerships.

You will own the full sales cycle, from prospecting and discovery through pricing, proposal, negotiation, onboarding and account growth. You will have the freedom to build your pipeline, supported by experienced Operations, Pricing and Finance partners who help transform customer needs into executable transportation solutions.

This role is a strong fit for a self-motivated logistics seller who moves with urgency, builds rapport quickly and knows how to manage multiple opportunities without losing discipline or customer focus.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect into mid-market accounts and build a healthy pipeline to support consistent monthly goal attainment.
  • Qualify opportunities, align services, and advance prospects through the sales process.
  • Work with internal teams to create appropriate pricing packages, and create clear, compelling proposals tailored to the business goals of buyers.
  • Apply sound commercial judgment to structure agreements that drive long-term retention.
  • Coordinate a timely and organized onboarding of accounts, communicating key account context, stakeholder contacts, and agreed-upon success criteria.
  • Maintain early engagement with newly closed customers to ensure a positive initial experience and reduce early churn risk.
  • Use review insights to inform expansion conversations and flag at-risk accounts for early intervention.
  • Identify and pursue upsell and cross-sell opportunities for recently sold or assigned accounts.
  • Maintain consistent account touchpoints to protect revenue and deepen customer relationships.

What You Bring

  • 3+ years of truckload brokerage sales experience.
  • A demonstrated record of building pipeline and closing multiple six-figure revenue opportunities.
  • Experience managing a high volume of concurrent opportunities and shorter sales cycles.
  • The ability to shift confidently between transactional and consultative sales conversations.
  • Strong written, verbal and presentation skills, including confidence with Director- and VP-level buyers.
  • Working knowledge of CRM platforms, forecasting, reporting and sales engagement tools.
  • A high sense of urgency, strong coachability, resilience and a team-first attitude.
  • The ability to work effectively in a hybrid arrangement, combining remote work with time in the Dallas office.

How Success Will Be Measured

  • Monthly and quarterly achievement of new-logo and expansion revenue goals.
  • Pipeline quality, coverage, conversion and deal velocity.
  • Accurate forecasting and consistent CRM discipline.
  • Successful customer onboarding and low early-stage churn.
  • Customer growth and quality of ongoing relationships.

What We Offer

  • Competitive base salary and performance-based incentive structure.
  • Comprehensive health, dental and vision benefits.
  • A hybrid role that combines flexibility with in-person collaboration in Dallas.
  • Experienced Operations, Pricing and Finance partners who support strong customer solutions.
  • Professional development and career-growth opportunities in a growing organization.
