Responsibilities
  • Sell Nokia Network Infrastructure product line, including Optical, IP, Fixed Networks, and “NIAB” (Network In a Box). 

  • Evaluate and develop business opportunities in collaboration with the sales team. 

  • Engage customers, present viable technical solutions, and articulate the value to customers. 

  • Support product demonstrations, lab evaluations and network trials. 

  • Identify customer requirements and communicate to internal pricing teams.  

  • Interpret internal and external business challenges and recommend best practices to improve products, processes, and

    services.  

  • Provide pre-sales and post sales engineering support.  

  • Provide measurable input into new products, processes, standards or operational plans in support of business strategies.  

  • Analyze, develop and implement concepts and solutions as a subject matter expert. #LI-DNI  

 

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Systems, Engineering, Telecommunications, Information Systems, or a related field, and 6 years of related work experience. 

In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Systems, Engineering, Telecommunications, Information Systems, or a related field, the employer is willing to accept 2 additional years of related work experience. 

 

Must have 4 years of experience in fixed network planning, deploying, commissioning, and troubleshooting routers and data-networking equipment; 

 

Must have 4 years of experience in IP Networking, Routing and Switching; 

 

Must have 4 years of experience in MPLS Routing Protocols; 

 

Must have 4 years of experience in Service Provider IP network design; and 

 

Must have 4 years of experience in PON Network design and architecture.

 

Domestic travel required up to 50%.
