About the role

Radar is looking for an Enterprise Sales Engineer to position the value of Radar’s technology to prospective customers and support the growth of our Enterprise customer base. You'll work with large customers to design solutions, run technical evaluations, and position Radar as the best choice for their location technology needs.

We're looking for someone who is excited to solve complex technical challenges for enterprise customers, enjoys building relationships with engineering teams, and wants to directly impact our product roadmap based on real customer feedback.

You will report to our Vice President of Sales Engineering and work closely with our Sales team and Founders. This is an in-office opportunity based out of our headquarters in New York City. You'll work from our New York office Monday-Thursday, with the opportunity to WFH on Fridays. Additionally, you'll typically travel for 1-3 onsites per quarter.

For candidates based in the United States, the base salary range for this full-time position is between $140,000 - $160,000/year with an expected On Target Earnings (OTE) between $170,000 - $200,000/year with the opportunity for performance bonuses and incentives.

In addition to cash compensation, Radar offers full-time employees a competitive equity plan with stock option grants. This is a meaningful ownership stake in the company that we provide to our employees as we build a category-defining company together.

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Your exact offer may vary based on market location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

What you’ll do:

  • Own the technical sales process — lead all technical aspects of enterprise deals (technical discovery, guiding POC’s, securing technical win), ensuring prospects understand how Radar solves their challenges

  • Deliver polished demos — deliver tailored, high-impact product demonstrations to diverse audiences from CTOs to engineering teams, tailoring technical depth to match stakeholder needs

  • Build customer trust — Establish yourself as the technical expert on location technology and Radar's platform

  • Improve our win rates — Continuously improve our technical evaluation process by identifying what resonates with enterprise customers and refining our approach

  • Shape our enterprise strategy — Partner with Sales and Engineering teams to develop tailored solutions and technical positioning that establishes Radar as the vendor of choice

You should have:

  • Customer-facing experience — 2+ years of pre-sales experience in Enterprise SaaS or developer tools

  • Strong communication skills — you can clearly and simply present technical concepts in a way that matches your audience's needs and technical background

  • Track record of winning new business — you've designed solutions and run structured proof of concepts that converted prospects into customers

  • Strong technical foundation — software engineering background or equivalent professional experience working with technical products and APIs

  • Familiarity/experience with location technology, a plus (familiarity with mobile SDK languages like Swift, Java, React Native, and mapping API’s)

  • Goal-oriented mindset - you take the initiative to get things done and are motivated to win

You’ll be working with:

  • Gianie Kim, VP of Sales Engineering

  • Siddie Pennewill, Sales Engineer

  • Coby Berman, Co-Founder and COO

  • Thomas Coleman, Senior Director of Sales

  • Our Sales and Sales Engineering teams

  • Fully stocked kitchen and weekly catered breakfast/lunch at our NYC office
