About the Role

Are you a passionate Sales Engineer eager to expand your Business Development expertise? We’re looking for a dynamic individual to join our team as we drive forward our expansion in the US Wind and Renewable Energy market. In this role, you’ll not only provide crucial technical support during the business development process, but you’ll also ensure our customers receive top-notch service throughout project implementation and delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the ONYX business development team to deliver expert technical support during the proposal phase.
  • Offer valuable insights on project scope, feasibility, and methodology.
  • Attend sales meetings and share your technical expertise to influence decision-making.
  • Contribute to engaging marketing activities, including conference presentations and webinars.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling technical presentations that showcase our innovations.
  • Oversee project delivery by coordinating with various departments and business units.
  • Ensure projects are executed on time and meet our high-quality standards.
  • Provide expert consultancy in wind farm operations and maintenance.
  • Collaborate closely with the commercial team to scope and specify consultancy projects.

Who You Are:

  • You will have an degree in an engineering focussed discipline ideally mechanical. 
  • You have experience in sales within an international, project-based organization.
  • You bring at least 5 years of experience in technical roles.
  • Prior experience with a wind turbine OEM or a renewables power producer/consulting firm is a significant plus.
  • You possess strong commercial and project management skills.
  • You have specialized knowledge in areas such as RCA and failure investigation, performance analysis, and electrical components.
  • You’re skilled in data analysis and familiar with the latest predictive maintenance techniques for wind turbines.
  • You can prepare and present high-quality reports and presentations confidently.
  • You excel under pressure as a confident project manager, able to meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
  • Your problem-solving skills shine through collaboration with customers and colleagues, both regionally and globally.
