The role

Raydar is recruiting for this role on behalf of our client. Act as the technical partner to account executives on large enterprise sales cycles, owning the technical side of each deal from first discovery through close. The role combines solution demonstrations, written proposals and customer-facing technical conversations. Occasional travel is part of the job.

What you'll do

- Lead technical discovery and integration assessments for enterprise opportunities through to close.

- Build and deliver tailored demonstrations that reflect each prospect's needs and environment.

- Work alongside account executives on competitive analysis, RFP and RFI responses, and proof-of-concept engagements.

- Scope technical requirements and help define delivery plans and statements of work.

- Spot upsell and cross-sell opportunities by learning customers' existing technical environments.

- Write clear proposals and proof-of-concept summaries for both technical and business audiences.

- Travel occasionally (about 20%) for client meetings, demos and industry events.


Requirements

What we're looking for

- 3 to 7 years in a dedicated sales engineering or pre-sales role with experience on complex, high-value enterprise deals.

- Background with contact center software, conversational AI or similar complex technical products.

- Solid grasp of AI and natural language understanding concepts and integration patterns, enough to speak credibly with technical buyers (coding not required).

- Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to explain technical ideas to non-technical stakeholders.

- Strong writing skills for RFP responses, technical proposals and summaries.

- Comfort using AI and productivity tools to prepare demos and technical narratives.

- Experience in an early-stage or high-growth startup, with a self-starting attitude.

- A university degree in a technical discipline.

- Ability to work from the office full time, either already local or ready to move.
