The Role

We are seeking a Contract Sales Engineer with the possibility of full-time transition. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in driving sales by combining technical expertise with sales acumen.

The Sales Engineer is the technical go between for the customer success and sales teams. They will develop a deep understanding of each prospect/customer’s environments, and work with our internal teams to be able to deliver the best product!

You are a great fit if you can navigate complex, fragmented opportunities, are incredibly technical and detailed, and have the sales/customer savviness to help close deals and meet quotas. Your active listening and discovery skills are second to none. You find out everything there is to know about the opportunity (customer or prospect), and you understand what’s required for success. You are able to connect pain points to each company's value proposition while using a consultative approach.

Responsibilities Overview:

  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify customer needs and develop technical sales strategies
  • Work with prospects to understand their business problems and design tailored solutions that meet their requirements, including architecture design, integrations, and proof of concepts
  • Deliver high-quality technical presentations/demos to prospects, articulating the value of our solutions and overcoming technical objections
  • Become a product expert, maintaining a deep understanding of the features, functionality, and applications of the product portfolio
  • Manage multiple opportunities simultaneously, working with internal teams to ensure successful sale and implementation
  • Support the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals, ensuring that all technical aspects of the sale are handled smoothly

Must have:

  • 3-5 years of SaaS Experience within Sales, Sales Engineering or CSM
  • Exceptional presentation and communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to align technical solutions with business goals and close sales
  • Ability to effectively manage competing priorities, and multiple projects/deals in a fast paced team environment
  • Strong creative problem solving skills, and ability to find new answers to hard problems
  • Top notch organizational skills and with an amazing eye for detail

Nice to have:

  • HR Tech, Recruitment Tech, or related industry experience
  • Startup experiences, particularly early stage
  • Experience within a small team
  • Work experience in recruitment or other people functions
