Role Overview
As a Sales Engineer, you will be the technical expert and strategic advisor for our current and potential clients, demonstrating the capabilities and applications of Boston Dynamics’ Spot Robot. You will work closely with our engineering teams to understand client needs, craft custom solutions, and ensure successful implementation.
Your key responsibilities
- Serve as the primary technical point of contact for clients interested in Boston Dynamics Spot Robot solutions.
- Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations, showcasing the Spot Robot’s capabilities.
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop proposals and quotes tailored to client requirements.
- Analyze customer operations to identify areas where Spot Robot can add value.
- Provide technical support and integration during pre-sales, sales, and post-sales stages, ensuring smooth project execution.
- Stay updated on the latest robotics technologies and industry trends to educate clients and internal teams.
- Build and maintain long-term client relationships to drive sales and repeat business.
The ideal candidate has
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Robotics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in technical sales and/or robotics.
- Strong understanding of automation and robotic systems and their applications
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Willingness to travel for client meetings and product demonstrations, and move and transport the Spot robot and all the other equipment.
- Good knowledge of French and English. English knowledge is required as this role will have to work closely with Boston Dynamics and English-speaking clients. We also have some French-speaking clients.
It’s a plus if you have
- Familiarity with Boston Dynamics Spot Robot or similar robotics platforms is a strong advantage.
- Previous experience in manufacturing and/or mining.
