Associate Sales Engineer

We are looking for an Associate Sales Engineer to join our Farris team in Corby!

The Associate Sales Engineer is responsible for supporting the pre-sales and/or post-sales technical engagement processes by assisting with solution development, customer requirements analysis and technical proposal preparation. Under close guidance, assists with technical sales support to ensure successful customer integration and implementation of established company products. This position combines technical knowledge with customer-facing communication to support strategic business opportunities.

YOUR CHALLENGE:

  • Assists in the preparation of technical presentations, proposals, and responses to RFPs/RFQs. Participates in customer meetings to gather requirements and communicate product capabilities. Collaborates with sales, product management, and engineering teams to develop tailored solutions. (20%)
  • Assists in the preparation and presentation of customer network systems/equipment needs plan to company teams to assure complete plan is feasible within cost, time and environment constraints. (20%)
  • Responds to customer inquiries regarding product specifications, compatibility and availability. Builds relationships with key technical contacts at customer organizations. Helps coordinate customer site visits, product demos, and technical workshops. (20%)
  • Assists in maintaining CRM systems and tracking technical engagement activities. Supports internal reporting on project status, pipeline progression, and customer feedback. Participates in developing presentations relative to keeping the customers current on company product enhancements and how they can meet the customer's changing business and network system needs. (20%)
  • Maintains basic knowledge of the company's products, applications and systems. (20%)
