As the Sales Director you will lead a team of Sales Professionals, Strategic Account and Business Partner Managers throughout the sub-Continent to deliver on Business targets, development and strategic plan execution. The role forms part of the Business Unit Executive and Leadership Team.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets.
- Develop and grow our sales teams throughout Sub-Saharan Africa.
- Function as part of the Leadership Team in steering our company towards achieving the vision.
- Participate actively in building customer relations and retention.
- Participate and represent the company at all levels of industry meetings and events.
- Ensure proper sales administration, building of market information, and databases.
- Senior representative of the Sub Sahara company at global company events.
Qualifications
- Commercial qualifications will be an added advantage.
- At least 7 years’ experience in the Animal Health and Nutrition Industry with a large part in sales and team lead positions
- A degree or relevant qualification in Agriculture, Animal Science, Veterinary Science or equivalent.
