Compensation package

Salary: £31,000 per annum

Commission: £9,000 per annum

OTE (salary plus commission): £40,000 per annum

Job brief

We are recruiting Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) with the aim of strengthening our sales team with people that want to build a career as an IaaS Sales Representative and be a big part of our ambitious growth over the next 5 to 10 years.

As an SDR, you will seek out new business opportunities via phone-based prospecting, as well as LinkedIn and email. You will speak with IT/technology leadership, CTOs and heads of information technology department, to identify opportunities for the Sales Executive team to make sales, by demonstrating the value of our products and customer care services.

We offer an effective mix of hands-on experience, and classroom-based sessions from the senior staff members with a proven track record in sales, developing all the skills you need to succeed in a B2B Sales role. The sales representative role does include working towards targets so you will need to be comfortable working under pressure.

Responsibilities

  • Calling contacts at targeted new business accounts
  • Generation of written messaging across a range of platforms (email/social media etc)
  • Use of social media and online tools to enable personalisation of prospecting.
  • Accurate recording of information on CRM (Salesforce)
  • Learn and communicate technical information related to our products and target industries.
  • Follow a defined sales/prospecting process while maintaining high output.
  • Collaborating with SDR team and Sales executive on prospecting approach to enhance revenue generation.
  • Performing against a personal target to contribute to an overall team sales engagement target.
  • Attendance to industry events globally

Desired Experience, Skills and Professional Candidate

  • 2-3 years sales experience
    • B2B Sales experience within the IaaS/Technology industries highly advantageous
  • Target driven with a real drive to succeed.
  • You must have a drive to be successful and be an individual who wants a high earning career in a fast-paced industry, where your pay directly correlates against how hard you work.
  • Possess exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Be able to articulate why you want a career in sales.
  • You should want to play a big part in a dynamic and ambitious company’s growth.
  • Demonstrate good questioning and listening skills.
  • Open to learning loads of new skills!
  • Desire to play a big part in the growth of our sales department over the next 5 + years!
  • Live in commutable distance to Guildford.

What we offer:

  • Salary: £31,000 per annum
  • Commission: £9,000 per annum
  • OTE: £40000 per annum
  • Pension contribution – 5% of salary.
  • Private healthcare – Once probation period is passed (subject to BiK)
  • Enhanced parenthood with 18 weeks generous paid leave after completion of 15 months’ ‘continuous service’.
  • 28 annual leave days plus all Bank Holidays in each holiday year in England and Wales.
  • 10 days working from anywhere in the world following completion of probationary period.
  • Mobile phone bill paid to the value of £80 per month (subject to BiK taxation).
  • Office Lunches – Deliveroo to the value of £14.00 each day.
