Summary:
As a Sales Development Representative at Lumistry you will be responsible for new business prospecting and pipeline creation through cold calling and demo setting. This position will be headquartered out of our Austin, TX office and work in a hybrid environment.
Responsibilities:
- Work alongside the Account Executive team to target, map, and develop prospecting strategies to drive new business opportunities with the goal of scheduling a demo.
- Use sales strategies to prospect and qualify leads through calls and emails
- Meet and exceed monthly quotas
- Learn our technology and effectively communicate our value proposition with a non- technical audience.
- Work to understand clients’ goals and challenges to better understand how we can help.
- Be organized and understand follow up - pursue goals with a level of urgency that sets you up for success.
- Use feedback, coaching, and peer insight to develop and hone your craft.
- Work a high-velocity deal cycle managing pipelines of around 60-80 outbound calls a day.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- A positive, open, and high-energy approach to growth and learning
- Experience evaluating opportunities to increase customer satisfaction, sales, and retention within a book of business
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Interest in social, mobile, and web technologies
- Ability/desire to work in the Austin office
