The Role

Do you want to join Lexer and work in the Sales & Partnerships team? Are you a junior person wanting to break into the big wide world of SaaS sales?

People often ask if we’re hiring at Lexer, usually because they’ve seen our epic culture, the fun events and the awesome clients and partners we work with. Well, here’s your chance!

We’re looking for a Junior SDR (with some Partnerships support thrown in) to join the team. It's a junior salary, so its suitable to someone eager to break into the tech world and learn the ropes of sales, partnerships, events and everything in between. This role would be suited someone working in a retail store who wants to get into the corporate world. or maybe someone fresh out of a relevant university degree.

This role is based in Melbourne (Minimum 3 days in our St Kilda HQ, 2 from home) and will support our Sales and Partnership work across both Australia and the USA.

Here’s who we’re looking for:
✅ Some sales experience needed (eg retail, media or tech—bonus points for any SaaS exposure)
✅ Proactive: can spot a great brand, reach out to them on LinkedIn/email, and book a meeting
✅ Big personality: energetic, social, confident and happy to attend events into the evening
✅ Great communicator: comfortable presenting, chatting on the fly, and writing great emails
✅ Google Suite savvy: can knock together a deck, work a spreadsheet, and stay organised
✅ Curious & confident: ready to learn our platform and eventually run product demos
✅ All-round helper: events, research, outreach, you name it, you’re keen to get involved

It’s a junior role, so we’re not looking for a 10-year resume, just the right attitude, curiosity and energy.
