The team & role 

Our brand collaboration vertical, Popular Pays, brings together like minded brands and creators, facilitating their collaboration, offering opportunities for brand deals and creator powered content creation.  As the leading platform for agile advertising, the Popular Pays’ platform makes it easier for brands to find and manage partnerships while helping creators monetize their talents and content. 

We're seeking a motivated Sales Development Representative to join our team and drive new business opportunities through qualification of inbound leads. This role is crucial in building our sales pipeline and creating the first impression with potential customers.

What you will be doing

Lead Qualification & Pipeline Development:

  • Qualify inbound leads according to company criteria
  • Conduct prospecting activities to generate new opportunities
  • Schedule qualified meetings for Account Executives
  • Meet or exceed monthly/quarterly qualification quotas
  • Maintain accurate records in CRM

Communication:

  • Engage with prospects via phone, email, and social channels
  • Create personalized outreach messages
  • Respond promptly to inbound inquiries
  • Articulate product value proposition clearly
  • Handle initial objections professionally

Process & Tools:

  • Maintain detailed activity tracking in CRM
  • Use sales engagement platforms effectively
  • Follow established qualification frameworks
  • Document prospect feedback and insights
  • Collaborate with marketing on lead quality

Your skills and experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 0-2 years of sales or customer-facing experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Tech-savvy with experience using CRM systems
  • Excellent organization and time management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM
  • Background in B2B software/technology
  • Knowledge of sales engagement platforms
  • Experience in consultative selling

Benefits

  • Expected salary range is $50,000-58,000
