The Role

PartsTech, an OEC Company, creates automotive e-commerce technology, helping repair shops, auto part distributors and manufacturers run their businesses more effectively and profitably through e-commerce and data innovation. We increase efficiency for the automotive aftermarket by connecting repair shops, parts distributors and manufacturers in one seamless, e-commerce platform. PartsTech makes finding and ordering the right parts simple, fast and accurate.

This is a Hybrid role working 2 days remote and 3 days onsite. Candidates must live within commuting distance to our office in Bee Cave, TX to be considered for this role. 


Job Summary/Objective

Conducts cold calls to qualify new accounts and reengage old accounts and leads.


Key Responsibilities & Duties (essential to the job)

  1. Engages inbound accounts to qualify and convert to daily users via outbound phone calls.
  2. Maintains active engagement with leads and existing repair shop users via phone calls, texts, and email using the phone system and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
  3. Builds and maintains expert knowledge of the PartsTech system in order to conduct system demos via phone and screen sharing.
  4. Provides consistent follow-up with existing customers to regain interest in using PartsTech, while passing qualified accounts to the Onboarding Account Executive team via internal processes.
  5. Works on cold calling, clean speech, overturning objections, and customer qualification techniques to maintain and improve sales knowledge, skills, and abilities.
  6. Creates, builds and updates pipelines and activity reports in the CRM.
  7. Enters, organizes and updates vital information on users in our phone system, CRM or other tools.


Education

Requires a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent. 


Experience, Skills and Key Competencies

At least 3 years of experience in inside sales selling SaaS/IT/software, with a track record of success in inside sales and account management reaching customers via phone and email.


Must also be able to demonstrate the following skills and abilities:

  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Can effectively organize and manage day-to-day work and priorities, and use time, energy and resources to meet goals, deadlines, and deliverables.
  • Ability to learn about products and services and describe/explain them in a way that resonates with a customer.
  • Able to effectively employ structured selling methods.
  • General knowledge of the auto repair business.
  • Able to communicate in a respectful, positive and constructive manner, even during times of challenge and frustration.
  • Can work independently and in a self-motivated manner.
  • Flexible and adaptable approach to work, and can easily adjust to shifts in priorities as the needs of the business change.
