The Role
We're looking for a Sales Development Intern to assist the TaskRay Sales Team with customer and new business sales development efforts to help drive pipeline and revenue generation. Reporting to the SVP of Sales and Marketing with exposure to our broader Sales, Marketing, and Success teams, this is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience in the world of B2B SaaS and the Salesforce ecosystem while learning market leading sales processes and technology.
Some traits we're looking for from you:
- Currently pursuing and in your third or fourth year of a business degree
- A passion for learning and personal growth
- Ability to own and run with a project or assignment independently
- Self-starter mentality with proven follow-up and time management abilities
- Excellent presence, basic business acumen, and interpersonal skills exhibited through all communication mediums
- Previous internship experience preferred
- Experience in customer research, account mapping, outbound prospecting and lead development management preferred
- Experience with Salesforce.com, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Salesloft, Zoominfo, or other like sales tools preferred
What you’ll do:
- Learn about TaskRay and the Salesforce ecosystem, specifically ISV technologies that enhance Salesforce native solutions and technologies
- Learn how to use Salesforce CRM as well as other market leading sales tools
- Collaborate with our Sales, Marketing, and Success teams to aid them in their account management and sales efforts
- Work through a provided list of customer and prospect accounts, performing company and contact research, documenting learnings in Salesforce, as well as assigning new business outreach campaigns
- Attempt a minimum of 40 customer and prospect account mappings per week
- Meet monthly goals and established metrics
- Other duties as assigned
Compensation
The hourly wage for this role is $22 per hour. The schedule is part time, flexible, ideally 20 hours per week, with a commitment through January 31st, 2025, with the possibility of extension.
In addition to cash compensation, TaskRay also offers the following benefits for part time employees:

Location
This position is hybrid (Colorado only). Successful candidates will be required to work from our offices at Industry Rino in Denver, CO, with the option to work from home some days.
While TaskRay has a physical office in Denver, we’ve always been proud of our hybrid approach to the work environment, even pre-pandemic. We aim to provide flexibility while ensuring alignment with the needs of each team and the business. We expect this role to be in-office 1-2 days per week.
