Position Summary
Responsible for growing business to business accounts, developing and executing new business to business relationships and providing consulting and sales services on an ongoing basis to clients and prospective clients.

Responsibilities

  • Attends initial and ongoing training on Company products, the Company business and effective sales techniques; retains and applies skills and knowledge learned in training sessions.
  • Compiles lists of prospective customers/clients and proactively develops new customer relationships through several avenues including cold calling, telemarketing, networking events, referrals and several organized lists; travels throughout assigned territory to call on existing and prospective customers to solicit current or future opportunities.
  • Manages current customer clientele providing monthly/quarterly reviews, best practices recommendations, areas for improvement, status reports, service reports and leasing/service contract data.
  • Evaluates customers’ business scenarios, qualifies customers’ needs and develops solutions utilizing any and all core competencies of the Company including hardware, software and services.
  • Works closely with clients during all phases of the sales cycle.
  • Delivers exceptional customer service to both clients and potential clients; develops and maintains relationships with multiple positions within the organization.
  • Responsible for meeting objectively set sales goals determined by Sales Manager and Branch Manager.
  • Maintains all data regarding sales calls, forecasts business and customer files in the Company provided CRM according to standards set by the Company.
  • Develops and implements strategic sales plans to accommodate personal and corporate goals.
  • Quotes prices and credit terms, prepares sales contracts for orders obtained and coordinates all follow-up.
  • Estimates date of delivery to customer based on knowledge of the Company’s production and delivery schedules.
  • Prepares reports of business transactions and keeps expense accounts.
  • Maintains a personal calendar and keeps it updated on a daily basis.
  • Maintains a neat, groomed businesslike appearance at all times.
  • Maintains valid driver’s license and state minimum auto insurance.
  • Regular, physical attendance on a predictable basis is essential to the performance of this job.
  • Other duties and projects as assigned by Supervisor and/or Management.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree, four (4) years prior business to business experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
