Grand Island Motor Company is seeking an energetic, customer-focused Sales Business Development Representative (BDC) / Internet Sales Coordinator to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start or grow a career in automotive sales, customer service, business development, or internet sales.


As a Sales BDC Representative, you will be the first point of contact for many of our customers. You’ll respond to internet leads, inbound phone calls, text messages, and chat inquiries while helping customers find the right vehicle and schedule appointments with our sales team. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic, tech-savvy, customer-focused, and motivated to succeed in a fast-paced environment.

  Responsibilities
  • Respond promptly to internet leads, phone inquiries, text messages, and live chat requests
  • Schedule sales appointments for prospective customers
  • Follow up with internet leads and unsold prospects through phone, email, text, and CRM campaigns
  • Build rapport with customers and identify vehicle needs
  • Provide accurate information regarding vehicle inventory, features, pricing, and dealership services
  • Assist customers with preliminary financing and purchasing information
  • Maintain consistent communication with customers throughout the buying process
  • Follow dealership sales and lead management processes
  • Utilize CRM software to document customer interactions and track follow-up activities
  • Work closely with the sales team to maximize appointment show rates and vehicle sales
  • Participate in training sessions, team meetings, and process improvement initiatives
  • Help deliver an exceptional customer experience from initial inquiry through dealership visit
  Qualifications
  • Previous customer service, sales, call center, hospitality, retail, or business development experience preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent phone skills and professional email communication abilities
  • Positive attitude and customer-focused mindset
  • Strong computer and technology skills
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple customer conversations simultaneously
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Team-player mentality and willingness to learn
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented
  • Experience with CRM systems is a plus but not required
  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
  • Must be willing to submit to a pre-employment background check and drug screening
