The Role

Description

The Sales Associate is responsible for delivering an outstanding in-store customer experience by assisting shoppers, providing product knowledge, and helping customers select merchandise that best meets their needs. This role includes maintaining a clean and organized sales floor, processing transactions accurately, and supporting sales goals through attentive service and product expertise. The Sales Associate promotes a positive store environment and represents the company’s brand with professionalism, enthusiasm, and strong interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers, understand their needs, and provide knowledgeable product recommendations.
  • Maintain merchandise displays, ensure product availability, and uphold store presentation standards.
  • Process sales transactions accurately using POS systems.
  • Assist with inventory tasks, including restocking and tagging merchandise.
  • Support overall store sales goals through excellent customer service and product engagement.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to learn product features and explain them clearly to customers.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Basic math and computer skills for handling transactions.
