Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital seeks a Sales Associate for their Gift Shop department responsible for performing Café/Gift Shop operations, including opening and closing procedures, accurate cash register functions, cash management applications, product knowledge, identification of pricing discrepancies, replenishment awareness, placement, and food/beverage service. Major accountabilities include:
- Performs food service operations, which includes preparation of specialty coffees and teas, handling food, dishes, equipment, and supplies in a safe and sanitary manner. Stocks food items, condiments, serving utensils, containers, dishes, silver and other appropriate items. Heats food, arranges and cleans food service area. Responsible for accurately recording temperatures of food and equipment.
- Performs sales operations, which includes stocking and merchandising retail items and assisting customers in the selection of products. Helps customers navigate the online merchandise order application.
