The Sales Assistant will work alongside our sales team to support customer relationships, coordinate projects, manage key business processes, and help ensure orders move smoothly from start to finish. You'll play an important role in our company's success by serving as a trusted resource for customers, brokers, distributors, freight partners, and internal teams.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing administrative work with customer interaction and wants an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a growing organization.
This position does not offer remote work, this position is onsite 5 days a week M-F at our location just outside of Monroe, WI.
Job Duties
- Support the day-to-day operations of the Sales and Marketing Department.
- Onboard new customers and maintain customer information within company systems.
- Assist with customer account setup, new item launches, pricing updates, and account maintenance.
- Process credit applications and create customer records.
- Maintain accurate customer data and files.
- Communicate with customers, brokers, distributors, and internal departments to support account management activities.
- Collaborate with production and operations teams to ensure accurate order fulfillment and product availability.
- Assist with order entry, order changes, confirmations, and customer communications.
- Coordinate freight shipments and customer deliveries.
- Build and maintain relationships with transportation and logistics partners.
- Review freight invoices and transportation-related charges.
- Support trade show planning, registrations, and event logistics.
- Coordinate customer demonstrations and product sampling programs.
- Manage product information across industry and customer data platforms.
- Maintain customer portals and website store locator information.
- Prepare export documentation for international shipments.
- Help maintain sales calendars, customer visit schedules, and team activities.
- Take on special projects and other duties that support the success of the department.

Physical Requirements
This position primarily involves desk-based work with regular use of computers and communication tools. Occasional standing, walking, lifting (up to 30 pounds), bending, and stair climbing may be required.
