Job Summary:
The Sales Assistant will assist the sales team with day-to-day duties and assist customers as needed.
FLSA: non-exempt (Hourly)
Supervisory Responsibilities:- None.
- Welcome customers as they enter and establish immediate rapport by following approved customer service scripts and policies.
- Ask brief qualifying questions to identify customer needs (buy, lease, service, browse).
- Direct customers to the appropriate sales associate, department or waiting area.
- Maintain an organized, clean and professional showroom and reception area.
- Monitor showroom traffic and ensure no customer is left unattended.
- Collect basic customer information and log it in the CRM or lead sheet.
- Offer basic product information and escalate detailed product or pricing questions to sales associate.
- Coordinates test-drive scheduling and notify sales associate when customers are ready.
- Manage phone and front desk inquiries; handle simple appointment confirmations and cancellations.
- Ensure compliance with privacy, safety and brand presentation standards.
- Assist with initial paperwork and ensure sales associate receives completed lead forms.
- Perform light administrative tasks; updating digital displays, replenish brochures, track waiting times.
- Must stay up to date on all company and manufacturer required trainings throughout employment with the company.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

- Ability to learn and retain basic product knowledge.
- Ability to professionally communicate with management and coworkers.
- High School diploma required.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
