Future PLC have an exciting opportunity for a Retention assistant to join our team, located in Cardiff. If you pride yourself on your ability to help customers, overcome objections, and find solutions, then this will be the perfect role for you.

What you'll be doing

As a Retention assistant , you'll be responsible for retaining our magazine subscription customers throughout the year, ensuring our customers are happy to continue their subscription with us.

Reporting to the Sales and Retention Team Leader, you'll;

  • Be a point of contact for individual customers looking to cancel their subscription
  • Achieve Key Performance Indicator's and monthly targets
  • Handle objections, problem-solve, and retain customers
  • Use all relevant systems to capture customer data (updating notes and outcomes)
Experience that will put you ahead of the curve
  • Customer-focused with conversational skills.
  • Sales experience advantageous.
  • Excellent retention or selling and negotiating skills.
  • Prioritise and manage your own workload and time.
  • Work collaboratively within the team and other departments.
  • Customer service experience
