This position is being recruited by 360 Talent Avenue on behalf of Ray-Carroll County Grain Growers.

Ray-Carroll County Grain Growers is a farmer-owned cooperative that has been serving Missouri agriculture since 1931. The farmers you will work with are not just customers — they are the owners of this cooperative. That changes the nature of every conversation. This is not a transactional sales job. It is relationship work, and the people on the other end of it have been farming this land their whole lives.

We are looking for a Sales Agronomist to join our team at our Mayview location and take ownership of an established territory serving corn, soybean, and wheat growers across the region.

What your days will actually look like:

Spring and fall are your busiest seasons — you are out on farms, walking fields, pulling soil samples, checking on test plots, and making sure your growers have what they need before they need it. You will put together agronomic recommendations, work closely with our applicator team, and be the person your customers call when something is not right. In between seasons you are planning, prospecting, and building the kind of trust that keeps growers coming back year after year.

Year one is about learning the territory and earning the relationships. The growth opportunity from there is real — there is acreage to be gained west and south of Mayview and we want someone who eventually gets hungry for it.

The Mayview location is rural and sits about 40 minutes from Richmond. If you are someone who would rather spend that commute time on a country road than in city traffic — and who appreciates that slow weather days mean less time on the road, not more — you will feel right at home here.

You are the right fit if:

  • You grew up around agriculture and are genuinely comfortable in a field and in a conversation
  • You have some sales experience or the natural instinct to build and grow a book of business
  • You know corn, soybeans, and wheat — not just from a textbook
  • You can work independently, manage your own schedule, and hold yourself accountable
  • GPS and soil mapping software does not intimidate you
  • CCA certification is a plus but we will hire the right person without it
