What the job is:
CPI is looking for someone who is positive, outgoing, upbeat and a natural leader. The ideal candidate will be quick to connect with others and able to establish and maintain working relationships to develop annual farmer and customer programs. The Sales Agronomist will be responsible for soil testing, field mapping and product recommendations to assure timely and accurate application. In addition, the Sales Agronomist will compile a list of prospective customers for use as sales leads and execute individual customer sales strategies while building and maintaining long lasting relationships to improve their processes and increase sales for CPI. CPI is a safety minded company thus such policies must be followed.
- A high school diploma or GED with an Associate's Degree in Agriculture or two years of experience in Ag Sales.
- Class A CDL with endorsement is preferred.
