What you’ll be doing…
As a Sales Account Manager for our Group Sales clients, you bring value to Burkhart Group Sales clients by providing expert advice on dental Merchandise, small Equipment and Service in a way that supports both client and Burkhart success. Your primary focus is on Merchandise and small Equipment sales to your assigned clients, developing new and existing clients and sales opportunities and seeing each client through the sales process. This includes reaching out to existing and potential clients, on-boarding new clients, and gaining greater depth of spend with existing clients – all in a way that builds trust and demonstrates Burkhart’s commitment to client success. Success in this role requires a highly self-motivated and proactive sales hunter – one who truly wants to support Burkhart’s clients in achieving the full value of their Group Purchasing Organization membership.

- SALES GROWTH: You consistently prospect for new clients and network to grow our business, including meeting new Supply Savings Guarantee (SSG) goals.
- EXPERTISE: Your internal and external clients view you as a product expert and problem resolution resource – you coordinate professionally among departments and external clients to find innovative solutions to business challenges and ensure follow-through and resolution.

Your communication and customer service skills are effective, respectful and consistently of the highest quality. You demonstrate professionalism while building and maintaining strong relationships. You are an active, engaged, collaborative, and positive teammate/leader with both internal and external customers.
What you’ll need…
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or related field is required. Significant additional experience in Dental Merchandise Sales that demonstrates the ability to successfully perform the essential responsibilities may substitute for a degree.
- 2 years of experience in a sales or closely related job. Experience with sales account management and telesales highly preferred.
- Experience with cold calling and identifying opportunities.
Preferred Additional Education and/or Experience:
- Dental sales experience.
Salary Info: The salary range is $60k - $69k annually.
Our pay ranges are built to allow for candidates with various levels of skill and experience to be considered, as well as for room for growth and tenure achieved in a role over time. Typical new hire salary offers fall within the minimum to midpoint of a pay range for many candidates. Any offer extended to a candidate will be based upon their unique set of knowledge, skills, education, and experience as well as internal equity.
