Job Summary
This is a great opportunity for someone who is seeking long-term employment in sales with a well-established company. We are seeking an enthusiastic sales representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will be motivated to learn and understand mechanical and electronic products used in the scale industry. This position is responsible for strongly supporting customers to find the right solutions for their weighing needs, emphasizing product/service features and benefits, quoting prices, and preparing sales order reports. This individual will also be responsible for expanding the existing sales territory and developing new business.
Job Responsibilities
- Strongly support customers to find the right solutions for their weighing needs
- Promote/sell product/service features and benefits
- Build relationships, prospect for new customers, and manage time
- Quote prices
- Prepare sales order reports
- Expand the existing sales territory and develop new business
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma and advanced sales education and/or experience
- Experienced selling in all aspects of the sales process
- Experienced in B2B sales and competing with industry leaders
- Able to evaluate customer needs and solutions in a wide array of industries
- Possess a positive work ethic and provide top-notch customer service
- Able to work independently with limited supervision
- Able to develop new business while maintaining existing territory
- Proficient in using common Microsoft Office applications (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
- Competent in learning new technology that supports our customer needs
- Ability to analyze, use critical thinking, and make sound decisions
Compensation and Benefits
- Competitive base salary with commission
