We are seeking a professional and dedicated Inside Sales Account Executive with a background in medical sales, distribution, or supply chain management sales. The primary duties and responsibilities include the selling and promotion of our full portfolio of healthcare products, over the phone and by video conference, to achieve sales goals, forecasts and maintain customer relations to drive market penetration and profitable growth for the company.

NDC specialty medical distribution partners serve end users in acute care, primary care, extended care, homecare, physical rehab, dental, infusion, animal health and other markets.

Account executives are accountable for driving leading national brand medical supplies sales to an assigned group of specialty medical distributors. You will create new partnerships and strengthen relationships with the current customer base.

Responsibilities:

· Call on current and potential medical and specialty distributors in an assigned geographical area, for the purpose of converting new business, maintaining current customers, and growing markets share.

· Form long standing customer relationships with key personnel at the medical and specialty distributors

· Convert existing and potential customers' use of targeted products and ensure sustained and expanded sales of these products.

· Identify market intelligence on competitive activity, communicate to appropriate internal resources in a timely manner; develop and implement sales plans to meet business goals.

· Attend all necessary meetings to perform the position's primary duties and responsibilities, and to develop business and organizational strategies with the management team as needed.

· Attend and participate in ongoing training as necessary to develop relevant product, market and competitive knowledge and selling skills.

· Identify market intelligence on competitive activity, communicate to appropriate internal resources in a timely manner; develop and implement sales plans to meet business goals.

· Create and maintain real-time database of market intelligence and sales activity utilizing SalesForce.com.

· Perform other job-related duties as requested and works effectively with other team members to ensure the goals and objectives of the organization are met.

· Responsible for account maintenance within region, including credit, pricing, account set-up, customer reports and product demand requests.

· Communicate sales activity impact to all related departments.

· Maintain database of contact names, status of accounts and all relevant territory information.

Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience:

· Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

· 1-3 years of sales experience

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· A sales-driven, goal-oriented, self-motivated personality and a positive attitude.

· Excellent communication and listening skills.

· Ability to maximize results by striving to consistently meet or exceed sales quota.

· Strong phone presence and experience dialing multiple calls per day.

· Effective at uncovering opportunities based on customer needs.

· Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.

· Ability to rapidly build knowledge of product lines.

· Ability to establish and maintain strong customer relationships over the phone.
